special tracks have a special story behind them.and this one certainly does. after mario & vidis recorded a couple of tracks with ernesto for their debut album changed they invited him to perform in their home country. during his short stay in lithuania ernesto performed two times and both times closed his set with a track called care. it was kind of a mash-up - swedish singer & songwriter was using lyrics of his old song to sing over metro areas classic caught up to a big effect - leaving the packed dance floors to a sing along to lyrical hook of sisters and brothers, smokers and lovers, care for me every time. big fan of metro areas sound vidis offered him to do a reversion of this mash-up using caught up as a reference and inspiration. the vocals were re-recorded, new arrangement was done, and the song was tested in the clubs as well as live on stage. so here it is - another big tune from the three to sing and dance along

diynamics new member duo hunter/game suprise with their first diynamic release. the two young boys from italy, emmanuele nicosia and martino bertola, bringing a really nice groove with them! its exactly the sound, diynamic stands for: deep basslines combined with groovy, harmonic vocals add up to the newest diynamic ep reckless lady. on their first visit to diynamics residency club, the ego in hamburg, hunter/game gave a first impression of the love and enthusiasm they have for their music. the first track >under< opens with a clear message: these boys really know what they are doing! driving hi-hats, a pumping, deep bassline and smooth vocals are giving this track a pretty nice groove. the second track on the ep boogie music sets apart from the other tracks. this cooperation with freakme is getting really funky! a beautiful vocal part, that is developing its full power in the first breake will make you move! with reckless lady, the third track on the ep, hunter/game made a perfect club tune. its again the nice combination of an accented, deep bassline, a repeating, catchy vocal and powering percussions that makes this track so nice. the ep ends with crazy enough, a melodic tune with epic vocals! all in all hunter/game proved their feeling for the special deep house sound, diynamic stands for and produced a great first ep.

mit seinem longplay-debüt tritt der produzent und sänger aus sacramento endlich mal selbst ins licht der Öffentlichkeit. als mitmusiker von zach hill, techniker und co-produzent der dirty projectors und gitarrist für marnie stern stand raleigh moncrief stets in der zweiten reihe, auf >watered lawn< rückt er ganz nach vorn. selbst gemachter elektronik-soul, sich vortastende psychedelic, das ganze im steten wechselspiel aus hell und dunkel und folkig intim vorgetragen. dabei schmiegt sich moncriefs herzschmerziger falsett an westafrikanische gitarren, synthie-effekte und verhallte beats. aus melodien werden rhythmen, aus moll wird dur, aus r&b grunge. und manchmal klingt es wie ein in acetat getauchtes stück von panda bear.
